The Tomcat

Cydwoq sandals, shoes and boots are said to be the best footwear you will ever put on your feet, and I agree. I recently purchased the Tomcat sandal at Schad in Ottawa and I am loving them! Not only are they totally unique and beautiful, but each pair is handmade in LA by a dedicated team who are led by walking enthusiast Rafi Balouzian. These shoes are made for walking, and that's just what you will do in them because the more you walk the more they form to the contours of your feet. Making them, in my opinion, the most unique sandal of the summer.

Stepping It Up!

First I want to start off by apologizing for being M.I.A for the past month! As a new blogger I totally underestimated the amount of extra time and thought it would require to keep a blog going, while maintaining quality. I can honestly say that I have a new found respect for all those bloggers who have maintained for an extended period of time. With that said, we are back in business.

Now, on to the shoes. I know this is not a "street-shot" but I had to show them off. Converse shoes rock my world, and have done so for years now. Recently I was walking by Neon on George St. in the market and saw these beauties sitting in the window. Yes, that's right, leather Converse high-tops. These may not be new news to some, but I am loving the classy step forward taken by Converse. I had begun to wonder if my Converse days were soon behind me. Well, I think with these the end of the road is far from sight.

Elgin St.

I think this outfit works so well. I particularly love the shoes with the dress. I've become a big fan of tie-up, closed-toe shoes with summer outfits.

A wonderful, unique summer outfit!

The Market - Hula Hoop!

The hula hoop definitely caught my attention, but came second to this adorable guys whole look. He strikes me as Gene Kelly with an edge. The 50's inspired shoes are icing on the cake.

Elgin St. - Blazer and Loafers

Two words came to mind when I saw this gentleman; classy and fun! His jacket is very nicely fitted, but has a summertime feel. But the purple shoes are awesome. They make you happy just looking at them!

Hair Junkie on Laurier - Adrian's Shoes

I couldn't get through my haircut without noticing hair stylist Adrian Brown's unique gold Supras. And these Supras are uniquely his with an 'A' hanging on the side.

These slick shoes totally compliment his chill, happy demeanor, but it's the pride in style that stands out the most.
